Spent the morning I should’ve been
off in another marked off place
searching for a secret that
was nice enough to hide and
searching for a secret that
was nice enough to keep
small and oval hard to
tuck under the tongue tip to
stick in the hollow
of the back down bottom teeth
out of the wind flows to
hold it silent
hidden when it’s time to speak.
